Our newest member of the Run With Us Race Team is Brandon Wolfe!
He just won 2nd place at the Disneyland 2016 Half Marathon with a PR time of 1:08:04. We are so happy to have him join our team. Welcome Brandon 🙂

Favorite shoe: New Balance 890
Favorite distance to race: 15k and marathon
Favorite place to run: along an undulating single track trail, enshrouded by evergreens, deep within a forest in the Pacific Northwest
Favorite post-race meal: 7 Eleven taquitos & a slurpee; chili cheese fries from The Hat; SOUPLANTATION YEAH
Training philosophy: To be a runner, you don’t need the genes for running, only the genes for perseverance and diligence.
Favorite or go-to workout: “Minnesota,” a longer version of the “Michigan.” It’s: 2 mi, 1.5 mi, 1 mi, 0.5 mi @ 5/10k pace, with 1 mi @ tempo/marathon pace in between each rep. NO rest!!
What I like to eat/drink before a run: toasted PB & honey sandwich or PB-filled pretzels, gatorade, coffee

Why I run: I’ve been fortunate to experience life lessons, meet extraordinary people, and explore wondrous places that have inspired me to run. Likewise, I have the fortune of learning many life lessons, meeting extraordinary people, and exploring new worlds while on the run. With these in mind & heart, I lace up my shoes every morning to prove the human spirit is indomitable.
Where to find me when I’m not running: studying the intricacies of the immune system in my lab at USC; on my bed daydreaming about tortoises; at the Disney Store adopting more Tsum Tsums
