Why I run: Running settles my mind. It allows me to think and feel alive. I love the people that have come into my life because of running and the experiences that I'm able to have because of it.

Favorite Shoe: That second NB RC Elite was money. Right now I don't think I have one but I do have plenty of options I get to choose from daily šŸ™‚

Favorite Distance: 26.2 miles baby

Favorite Place to run: The Rose Bowl

Favorite or go-to workout: A long run where I'm alternating between marathon pace and about 15-20 slower than marathon pace. I'll do about 5-6 sets of those after a 4 mile warm up and it feels nasty but then I feel strong.

What I like to eat/drink before a run: Coffee for sure. If I'm fueling up I'll probably drink some Skratch

Favorite post-race meal: Either pizza or burger and beer

Training philosophy: It's not all about hitting home runs. Some of the greatest comebacks in baseball were created off of singles and doubles. The goal is to build one day at a time.
