I went out much faster than I had planned and paid for it with a sluggish second mile. But I felt strong enough to move up into first place in the third mile and grind to the finish in 18:54. Although I secretly had hoped for a PR, this was very consistent with my training and I’m really happy with the results. It felt great to see my name on letsrun.com!
