Training philosophy: It’s going to be hard, no matter what’s the goal. Because if it’s easy it’s not worth it. So better put on a good smile and enjoy the journey!

Favorite or go-to workout: Up and down the Gabrielino trail (it’s my namesake trail after all!)

What I like to eat/drink before a run: a whole wheat bagel with cheese or eggs, and strong coffee

Why I run: because running is what makes me feel alive, connected to the world and to nature. And probably because I’m hopelessly addicted to running
