Back on My Feet, a national organization operating in 12 major cities coast to coast, combats homelessness through the power of running, community support and essential employment and housing resources. Their success is measured not only by the health impact of miles run, but also by how many individuals obtain education, employment and housing.
Back on My Feet recruits members (individuals experiencing homelessness) at homeless and residential facilities around the country and begins with a commitment to run three days a week in the early morning. After 30 days in the program, members with 90% attendance earn the opportunity to move into the second phase of the program called Next Steps, which provides educational support, job training programs, employment partnership referrals and housing resources. Almost 80% of individuals who start the program move into Next Steps.
For nearly two decades Catz Pasadena has trained and rehabilitated countless youth, professional and Olympic athletes, as well as adults and children striving to live a more healthy and active lifestyle. Dog Haus Running Club is free social running club dedicated to “Fitness, Fun, and Philanthropy”. They meet every TUESDAY night at Dog Haus Biergarten (Green St., Pasadena) for a free 5k fun run, followed by great food and drink specials at the pub and socializing with new friends. After 10 runs you earn a free club t-shirt! “Run, Jog, Walk, Crawl, Sprint, Cartwheel… Whatever it takes to get back to the bar!”
Girls On The Run LA is dedicated to helping girls realize just how incredible they are! One girl put it this way, “I learned that I am the boss of my brain.” Helping girls take charge of their lives and define the future on their terms. You can also think of it as Can University—a place where girls learn that they can. No limits. No constraints. Only opportunities to be remarkable.
One of the most difficult things to do is change. But, if we were made to change then why not be in control of it. Here at FACT we work on consistent growth through systematic training based on your 100%. We also use our group dynamic to enhance the training.
The Foothill Flyers Running Club is a friendly and free association of nonsmoking adults in the San Gabriel Valley section of Greater Los Angeles, California, whose purpose is to encourage and help members to achieve their goals.
The Pasadena Pacers is the oldest running club in the San Gabriel Valley. In 1996, we assembled a group of 35 non-runners and trained for the LA Marathon. Since then, we have introduced over a thousand people to running and have trained for countless events.
Pasadena Triathlon Club (PTC) calls Pasadena and the surround San Gabriel Valley home. You will find PTC active training and racing all over California and beyond. As a non-profit, Pasadena Triathlon Club is volunteer led and member powered and member dues go towards supporting the club and our stewardship of the community and sport.

Dr. Smith has even written a running injury prevention book, “Run Healthy Run Strong”, providing advice on how to run better, stronger, and with less chance of injury ─ along with easy stretches and exercises ─ to runners unable to come into his office for a visit. He also created an iPhone Running App, Stretch & Run which is available in the iTunes store.

The Midnight Mission offers a way to self-sufficiency for men, women and children that are experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles.
They offer a path to self- sufficiency to men, women and children who have lost everything. Their emergency services, 12-step recovery program, job training, education and work programs offer a compassionate bridge to productive lives.
They remove obstacles to self-sufficiency and provide the accountability and structure that people who are experiencing homelessness need to rejoin their communities.Their conviction and commitment to their success defines The Midnight Mission.
Whittier Pacers meet every Saturday morning at 7:00am for free training and support to help you reach your running goals. We are a family friendly running club. Our current meet up location is at Whittier Narrows Recreation Area (Legg Lake) off of Santa Anita Avenue.
Their goal is to help the world live healthier and more active lifestyles by offering free training and support to as many runners as possible. They will provide structured training programs emulated from our running family and friends, the Pasadena Pacers.
