Why I run: Running allows me to experience nature. Running makes me feel empowered and resilient. Running is the only time that I disconnect. Running allows me to put all my “problems” into perspective. Running is my cheerleader. But most importantly, Running brings to the running community!

Favorite Shoe: HOKA, very hard question to narrow to one. But currently I wear Mach X for road and Tecton X for trails. 

Favorite Distance: 100 milers

Favorite Place to run: Everywhere in the Angeles National Forest.  

What I like to eat/drink before a run: Coffee & bagel 

Favorite post-race meal: I first drink my protein. I usually crave asada burritos!

Training philosophy: Keep going!!! 

Favorite or go-to workout: Tempo runs!

Favorite quote that inspires me: “When I run, I am in touch with my deepest self. I feel alive and invincible.”

Where to find me when I’m not running: When I’m not running I’m out with Coco & Jerry, with family or friends.
