Kate Olson Breaks Course Record For The Win!
RWU Race Member, Kate Olson, ran the Into the Wild Fremont Canyon 28K (Orange, CA) on June 1st, 2019. She took home the win with a time was 2:24, which was also a course breaking record! Here’s her summary about the event below:
The race was challenging and fantastic! First 12 miles were mostly climbing and the rest was mostly downhill. I was chasing a woman ahead of me for that entire climb before taking over the lead and never looking back. Only beat her by 2 minutes, she was on my tail the whole time! It was work! Really competitive race, loved it!
It’s beautiful down there, the course was beautiful and it had a great atmosphere. Love those races 😊 I also met someone else with a Run with Us tank, Sharon Moreno Hernadez. She was awesome out there today, too!
