Book Launch Event – Nov 18th at RWU

Join us for a special in-store event as we welcome Alison Mariella Désir to Run With Us for a discussion of her book, Running While Black: Finding Freedom in a Sport that Wasn’t Built for Us. You’ll have a chance to hear Alison discuss her personal running journey and ways to reimagine the future of this sport.

Alison is a renowned community organizer, runner and activist. She has co-founded many organizations, such as Running Industry Diversity Coalition and Run for All Women, advocating for greater inclusion and equality in the running community.

We will be raffling several Brooks shoes and other goodies thanks to Angel City Elite!! And oh yea, tacos and drinks will be available as well
